It’s not that people don’t know right from wrong; it’s what they want that prevents them to act rightly. Justice doesn’t motivate human action like survival or greed do, yet it doesn’t mean that the right thing doesn’t exist; it only means that even when it exists, we don’t do it because it’s easier to think we don’t have authority over our lives until we are proven that there is no other way. We have trained ourselves not to see justice until one day we don’t think it exists anymore. So unless we take responsibility of our own lives, justice will remain a fairytale.
